The topic of blockchains doesn’t need an introduction anymore: Since Bitcoin’s whitepaper was published almost exactly ten years ago a lot has happened.
While a lot of the frenzy in the financial sphere comes from the speculation on cryptocurrencies, the disruptive potential of the technology for topics ranging from settlements to real-time transactions continues to fascinate both experts and interested observers.
